Objects for collections relating to household were acquired continuously. They included a rich variety of household utensils covering the whole 20th century. The kitchen appliances and tools include saltcellars, grinders and mills, mortars with pestles, graters, poppy-seed crushers, trivets, curd presses etc. Lately the museum staff has been specializing in gathering kitchen equipment, namely types of cupboards, food cabinets and rare wooden coolers. The fund also contains a set of tools used in farmstead – various pails, tubs, and grain gauges. A separate subgroup are aids and tools used for baking bread and pastry such as kits, washtubs, various scoops and moulds and mouldettes.

Worthy of special attention is the set of objects relating to milk products such as a set of tools for the manufacture of milk products, churning butter, butter moulds and curd presses.

Another separate subgroup is a complete set of tools used for washing and ironing clothes a part of which is displayed in Topolná, house No 93, namely pistons, mangles, irons, mangle boards, ironing boards, washboards, muffs, tools for sewing and embroidering and respective types of washing machines.

As for furniture, the museum exhibits period tables, shelves, artistically carved chairs, beds, coffers, chests of drawers, corner cabinets, armoires, completely furnished bedrooms and kitchens. The collection of decorated coffers comes from the workshop of Jan Burian of Mohelno, and the fretted furniture is the pride of the museum having been acquired before 1940. The fund has been regularly replenished.
